Holly Thompson

Recently my Aunt Holly was sent to Community Health Centers of the Monterey Peninsula due to heart problems. In the last month this has been her third trip to the hospital previously with an infection in her hand. Within a week at CHOMP her kidney function decreased to 20% several days ago, but now are improving. At 60% today. No dialysis necessary. Doctors are convinced she did have a heart attack, but can't evaluate further til kidneys improve. In the meantime, she is severely anemic and in congestive heart failure. A big concern for her is finances. Although they have good insurance, it does not cover everything. Also, because she's self employed, she does not qualify for State Disability Insurance and each day she doesn't work, she doesn't bring home a paycheck. My aunt isn’t one to ever ask for help, but I hate seeing her worry about all their financials. I am doing this because ANYTHING will help. I’m reaching out to all who genuinely are there for my aunt and our family. And I hope me doing this can help my aunt and uncle just a little bit. She is everything to us and we all want to do whatever we can because she is an amazing woman! Thank you all for your love and support❤️
