HAF Needs A New Accessible Bus!

Hollis Adams Foundation opens the world to adults with developmental disabilities. We provide social, recreational, educational, and community opportunities. We go out into the community every day exploring various activities. We volunteer with Meals on Wheels, Gleaners, and Westminster. We learn new things at museums, Southside Landfill, farms, and fisheries. We get exercise at NIFS, Styner Sports, the monon trail, and a ton of other really cool places. We swim, go boating, visit parks, see movies, go bowling, and go out to eat. We go everywhere! Friends are a huge part of our lives and Hollis Adams Foundation helps facilitate friendships with adults with developmental disabilities. We don't just see our friends inside our homes, but we see them at work and in the community. This is one way Hollis Adams Foundation helps. We provide an inclusive place where friends can meet, but we also go out together as friends and explore the awesome community we live in! 

One main element in going out is transportation. Hollis Adams Foundation has a 12 passenger accessible bus that aids in our explorations. However, our bus is broken and we need a new one. We cannot open the world to adults with developmental disabilities without it. We need your help! Hollis Adams Foundation currently supplements 60% of the cost to run our programs so they remain affordable for all.

A new-to-us accessible bus will cost around $30,000. Any funds raised will go towards purchasing a new bus or helping repair our current bus.
