UPDATE: As of today April 19th, Dakota has been through 5 surgeries, 5 blood transfusions and developed Sepsis infection in his blood. He was taken down to ICU with 104.1 fever and a heart rate of 136. He is now back in his other room with stable vitals, however they are still working hard to figure out where the bacteria infection is in his blood. Please continue to pray for Dakota and his family
UPDATE: Cara's employer called her 4/19 to check on her son, and then proceeded to fire her over the phone. Cara is need of our help right now. If you know her, you know she would do anything for anyone. Please help in any way you can. Thank you and God Bless
Help needed for Dakota Hollingsworth and his mom Cara Hollingsworth.
On Wednesday morning March 29, 2017, Dakota, who is a US Navy sailor and part of the Crash & Salvage team was on his way to work to the aircraft carrier on his motorcyle when he was involved in a HIT and RUN accident and was left for dead. Which left him with a broken femur, open compound fracture out the back of left leg, reconstruction of his right knee, fractured pelvis, fracture in his L4, and his right hip socket is broken. He has had 3 surgeries so far and will need a 4th eventually to repair all his legiments in his right knee.
Cara and her family need help to cover Rent and Bills while she is in Virginia helping Dakota through his recovery. She has 3 other children back home in Oregon.
