Hollie Imburgia Medical Expenses

Donation protected
Hi everyone...my heart aches as I write this. My dear friend, Hollie, was on a cross county motor cycling adventure, with other strong, empowered women. About a week into the trip, in Montana, Hollie's bike broke down, needing to go to the dealership for repair.  Hollie had a replacement bike she was riding in the meantime. Unfortunately, Hollie's journey was cut short.  Hollie was involved in a motorcycle accident on Monday, August 10th near Billings, MT.  Hollie was thrown over the handlebars of the bike, landing on her rear and back side. Yes ,she was wearing a helmet. Yes, she had her body armor on.  Thank you, Jesus.

Hollie's pelvis was broken in four places. She had a successful surgery this morning, Tuesday the 11th, basically rebuilding her pelvis with metal plates and screws. The doctors told her fiance, Alex,  it could be 3-6 months before she is able to walk again.

For those that don't know, Hollie is a Respiratory Therapist. She has a need to help people.  She worked in the COVID unit at a hospital in Tacoma, WA. She saw first hand how sick people became and how hard they battled to live. When word got back to Hollie about the need for therapists in her home state of New York, the need to help people took over. She took a leave of absence to become a member of the front line team in New York, not just for one contract, but renewing for a second. Hollie fought COVID-19 in New York for a little over 3 months, returning home in July.  During her time on the East Coast, Hollie felt that her calling was elsewhere, and she resigned from her position at home.  Hollie was ready to go fight COVID in other cities that needed her, however how far from home that was.

Unfortunately, Hollie does not have medical insurance.  She will be unable to work and will have no income. She may not be able to walk for another 6 months.  She is in Montana, not home in Washington. Her home will need to be modified for a wheel chair and other basic living needs. There will be so many expenses involved with her accident. I understand that finances are truly tough for everyone, but any donation will be greatly appreciated to help offset the expenses and assist her family to cover living expenses while she is recovering from her injuries. Share this with your friends.  All funds will be delivered to Hollie. Please consider donating to my friend Hollie. She truly is a beautiful person, both inside and out.
