Melissa Honl fighting AML and MDS

Melissa Honl is such an amazing mother, wife, cousin, friend, a truly good person & also the toughest momma I know and is going to kick leukemias butt!!!
On September 17th this year Melissa had some very scary blood work come back. She camped out at her doctors office until she got answers and a referal to an oncologist. After getting her first bone marrow biopsy the results were devastating. Cancer. Leukemia. Acute Myeloid Leukemia. ( AML ) She was admitted to the hospital on October 14th and started Chemotherapy. After a week of strong chemo she got very sick with an infection in her intestines. She was transferred to a much larger hospital with a bone marrow transplant ward and specialists to treat her cancer. On friday Nov 21 she was given more devastating news. Not only does she have leukemia but she also has Myelodysplasia ( MDS). She started another induction round of Chemo, this time three different types of chemotherapy. She will require a bone marrow transplant and she will be away from home and her family for months.
