Hoggan's Heroes

My mother, a lifelong teacher, passed suddenly. Her life and her love were her grandchildren and her students. She called her students her Hoggan's Heroes and always said once you were one of her kids you always were. She did more for children than I can put into words. She not only taught them, but she fought and worked to make sure the children of Trenton had a proper education, playground equipment, clothes, nutritious meals, and a loving environment. One of her last projects was creating a garden for her school to help teach the children about nutrition and proper eating habits. She had gotten a grant, but it was not enough to realize her vision. In lieu of flowers, my sister and I are asking that people donate to help my mother's garden become a reality. Any additional funds will be used to assist her kids in any way needed (warm coats, back packs, school supplies...).
