Maureen Hogan's Treatment Fund

Maureen, originally diagnosed with breast cancer in October of 2013, had a full mastectomy, two surgeries and a long recovery both physically and emotionally.

Fast forward to late May of this year, what was thought to be bronchitis turned out to be stage four breast cancer in the lungs.


Not receiving the help she needed from mainstream Western medicine and almost dying from lung complications, Maureen turned to alternative naturopathic based cancer treatments to shrink her lung tumors in the hopes to manage her cancer and put it into remission.




Maureen’s  treatment also includes supplements for cellular support and lung health. The good news is that the treatment is working! Her tumors have shrunk 25%, coughing has been limited to a couple times per day and she hasn’t experienced pleurisy in over six months! It truly is a miracle.  She has already beaten the odd and statistics.

Maureen has a partner of over 18 years who herself just went through early onset ovarian cancer.  The two of them have been dealing with this disease gracefully.


However, as I have been watching them struggle, I knew something had to be done to give them what they needed to give Maureen the chance she deserves.

Being a cancer survivor myself, I believe when a life-threatening Illness strikes  a relationship, finances should be the last thing people need to worry about.

I know all all too well the stress level of the bills that pile up as well as being out of work while you’re trying to heal. Here are a few examples:

I've decided that the best way we can help at this point is by emailing friends, family, other cancer survivors and those touched by cancer to ask for assistance in giving what they can. It takes a village!

Maureen have built their life around being kind and giving back to others. Knowing Maureen and her partner Rita  all these years, they come from a selfless and giving place.

Maureen’s protocol will need to continue for an estimated six months to a year. Your donation will help with  purchasing supplies for Maureen’s treatment which isn’t covered by insurance. The total cost per month is approximately $1350.
