I've created this GoFundMe campaign in support of a personal goal of mine that I'm excited to share with you. As an avid runner, I've decided to attempt the challenge of getting into the Rock and Roll Marathon Series Hall of Fame in 2018 while raising money for charity at the same time.
To gain entry into the RNR Marathon Series Hall of Fame, a person must run at least 15 half (or full) marathons in a calendar year. Along the way, I would like to raise $5,000 for the Cancer Research Institute.
Why Cancer Research Institute?
*60+ years, $350M+ of funding cancer research with 3100 scientists around the world.
*86% of all money spent goes towards funding programs and services, with over 120 clinical trials funded.
*Specializing in advancing Immunotherapy, one of the most promising and effective forms treatment available today for all types of cancers.
*Strong Leadership Board with representation from major pharmaceutical companies and research institutions (including Washington University, my Alma Mater!)
Please join me in supporting this cause! 100% of the amount raised here will go directly to the Cancer Research Institute to continue funding their Immunotherapy program.
