Hi Everyone,
Many of you know the story of my daughter Lauren. I'm sure many of you do not. I'll will begin by telling you all the name of this very special fund raiser. I'm calling it Pump me Up. My daughter Lauren Morris Jones was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in Jan 2014. Lauren was found in a coma in her apartment with 5 month old Sadie. Lauren was rescued by a mother's (me) instinct and some awesome Yuba City CA EMT's, Police. She had the best Dr in the area at Rideout Memorial Hospital. As a mother, I can tell you this was the worst day of my life! Lauren was put of life support and remained in a coma for 8 days. She awoke to a whole new way of living. That living is with Diabetes. Self injecting many times a day. Lets add insult to injury. Lauren lost her insurance for a whole 2 weeks this year. It was a mistake by her insurance company they refuse to correct. This has caused her meet yet another deductable. Lauren despartely needs an insulin pump. This will make her life more livable. I am asking each of you at this time of giving, to reach out to this sweet special young woman. Please help Pump lauren Up!!! Thank You!!
