Ignite Small Group Service Project

Every semester, Small Group Bible Studies of students from our Youth Group at Southbrook Church complete a service project together to help those in need. During this COVID-19 Christmas season, our group was struggling to find a service project that would be safe, but also allow us to give back. We decided as a group that we wanted to raise money to buy a Water Bundle through the World Vision organization for a family in a remote area with limited access to resources. Our goal is to raise at least $200 to buy one Water Bundle. Water Bundles include a water well, bathroom and hygiene training, and a water filtration system for a family without access to clean water. These tools allow children to have safe water, the tools for good hygiene, and protection from waterborne diseases. All donations given are greatly appreciated and go directly towards our project. Any additional money we raise will go toward buying another Water Bundle, or will be donated to World Vision. Donations will be accepted through Wednesday, December 16 at midnight so that the Water Bundle can be delivered in time for Christmas. Thank you again for helping us with out project.
