My Dream to Study Abroad!

I grew up in Colorado. Never in my life have I gone outside Colorado- but for the last 15 years of my life, curiosity has built and my own dreams have nourished. I am very aware of my own goals and limits, and know what I want for my future. Studying abroad is more then an ambition to me, becoming an exchange student I believe will open my world. I wan't to experience things beyond my comfort zone and connect with new people. Taste new foods, learn a new language, view different religions, and travel for my first time!
Currently, working with "AFS-USA Student Exchange" I am determined to study abroad in Japan for my Junior year of high school; but I still have a long way to go. I am no where capable of being able to pay off the program tuition. $14,000 is way to much for me and my family to handle. My mother, a single mother already has to much weight to carry, raising me and my five siblings, keeping food on the table, and paying bills. The study abroad tuition is only more stress and hard work dumped on to me and my family. 
My departure date for Japan is this March 2015 and fundraising is slowly working. With not much time left it would mean the world to me if I could make my dream a reality. To experience everything other students have as exchange students.
