My Name Is Maria Steckman. I Am A Disabled Mother Of Three Young Children. I Have Been Diagnosed With A Rare Incurable Disease Called Gastroparesis And Global Dysmotility. Which Means My Stomach, Small Intestines And Bowels Are Paralyzed. I Use A Feeding Tube To Eat. I A Still Struggling With My Feeds. I Am Unable To Get Nutrients Into My Body. My Children Are Watching Me Suffer. The Doctors Are Contemplating Putting In TPN, Which Is A PICC line For My Needs. I'm Not Ready I Spend Numerous Hours At Doctors And Traveling ToGo Back And Forth To The Cleveland Clinic. It Is Over 500 Miles Round Trip. Our Family Is Struggling On One Income As I Am Still Fighting For My Disability.

The Doctors Have Also Recently Diagnosed Me With Pelvic Floor Dysfunction And Now Need To See A Colorectal Surgeon. To Date My Surgery Count Is Now 34 And I Am Only 40Years Old.
