Demo Animation for Adventures of Puss 'N Dick

Dear family, friends, and fans,
For the last 10 years I’ve been developing this project because I believe we can make a difference. I believe the media can and does help change the way we communicate and understand one another. With that goal in mind I am asking for people: friends, fans, and anyone else interested in better, more productive communication to support the making of a presentation of the Adventures of Puss ‘N Dick as an animation, so that we can demonstrate to media outlets: Netflix, Comedy Central, Hulu, Amazon, Adult Swim. I’d like to show these networks that PND is a viable and marketable production worth being on the air because it’s wanted and needed by their viewing audience. Contributing to getting this made as an ongoing animation series is a way to make our voices heard, because I think the characters represent all of us- with our faults and solutions that work in the real world.
Background on Adventures of Puss ‘N Dick: A Survivor’s Guide To Relationships:
This project started with an awareness I gained from one of the most important relationships I have- with my husband, lover, and friend, Sal Iannotti. From this relationship, I’ve realized that men and women approach many situations differently, partly because of simple biology. I also realized that as I began to see things from his point of view, it broadened my understanding, making communication between us better.
From this simple, but not always easy to practice, awareness Adventures Of Puss ‘N Dick-A Survivor’s Guide to Relationships was born. And what better way to express it than through animation, a vehicle which can handle life changing concepts in a humorous way. And a field in which I have expertise in as voice actor, story editor and script writer.
Then the concept of the show expanded. There are male and female aspects within all of us. Better communication is the key to surviving and thriving in ALL relationships.
I believe that Adventures Of Puss ‘N Dick-A Survivor’s Guide To Relationships has the potential to make us better humans, partners, & friends- even as we laugh. These are troubled times. Our world, especially the media, is riddled with misunderstanding and vitriolic language. We often feel there is nothing much we can do about it. I am offering a solution to actually DO something about it.
