TBI Survivor needs a wheelchair van
Donation protected
Luke is an Army National Guard Veteran who sustained a traumatic brain injury 2 weeks before his unit was slated to deploy. His accident was not in the line of duty.
Luke's accident was Sept 9, 2011 and he has been in and out of the hospital and rehab centers many times over the past three years.
He lives at home with his parents but is completely dependent on them for everything. His Mom cares for him 24/7 and his dad is the only income in the household. He lives in a rural area which makes getting around difficult without a reliable van. The one in use for him now has 400,000 miles on it and is slowly dying. His Mom is constantly concerned that the van will break down with him on board. Any donations received will be used to buy a "new" used van that is in much better shape. Thank you in advance for your help!
This is Luke the morning after his accident.
This is Luke 2 years and 2 months later!
