Hit & run survivor Kris Green medical needs help

This is Kris Green, he is a very hard working Michigander born and raised.  He was riding his bike before his shift started at the local Walmart.  Someone who probably panicked while running a yellow light, hit him head on with their dark colored SUV.  Kris clung to the hood for dear life, locked eyes with the driver, then was cast off the front of the vehicle and left for dead in the street as the perpetrator drove away.  Kris Green is a hard working man with three grown daughters and 7 grandchildren.  We're all very worried as Kris has suffered grave injuries and has already started the long bumpy road to recovering from a shattered ankle, broken legs, a broken hip, broken ribs, and a punctured lung.  He will be unable to work for the foreseeable future and will have very extensive medical bills and lengthy recovery to regain his strength and mobility.  Kris Green is not the type of man to accept gifts with grace, so he won't be happy we did this.  Kris does not have medical insurance at this time and is at high risk for losing everything he has right now.  But in a community, when one of us needs help we gather together to do what we can to help.  Anything helps, and his family appreciates any help you might be willing to give, and we endlessly appreciate your generosity.  Eventually, Kris Green will be back on his feet, thanks to you.
