Hit and Run Destroyed my Bike It's my Car

On December 22 I was hit by a Truck on Florida Ave on my bicycle. I tried to stop in time but the truck sped up and hit me in the shoulder blade throwing me into oncoming traffic and running over my bike. The driver fled from the scene. Officer Pellegrine drove all over the city to find the truck that hit me since it was caught on camera but could not find the driver. The bike (Lulu is its name) was totaled but I will keep it for parts. This bike is precious. It was a surprise gift from my partner and means so much to me. It is also my primary mode of transportation as I cannot afford a car and it's insurance in Florida. 

I am starting a GoFundme so I can replace my primary mode of transportation and helmet as a bike is expensive and I am a bit on the heavy side. (I weigh 330 lbs so it is also my exercise and the way I am getting in shape). I know this is just after Christmas but I honestly do not have the funds to replace Lulu.

I have enclosed the crash report and the bike I am hoping to replace Lulu with as well as pictures of the injuries since I do not want people to think that I am just begging for money.

Please help me get Lulu replaced so I can go back and forth around town, work when I need to go into the office and get to the bus lanes.
