Hirad Khoshravesh

Hi. I am Shiva Ghasemi. I am raising funds for Hirad Khoshravesh, a Ph.D. student in Engineering Mechanics at Virginia Tech.

He has a recurrence of a nasopharyngeal carcinoma which has now spread to spine, outer side of brain, kidney, liver, lung, and several other areas.

- He lives alone and has no family or friends here as he came to Virginia Tech last semester.

- He requires starting on immediate treatment as his life is in serious danger, these include radiation therapy, surgery and soon begin chemotherapy/immunetheraphy.

- He will require additional assistance with rides to the clinic, different scans, and assistance with activities of daily living.

He has no family in the United States. We need to help him to go through this treatment and since he has %25 percentage of chance for survival with immune therapy, we need do our best to make this happen. This campaign has been built to raise fund for his medical bills, housing, transportation, and etc. We need to support him financially and emotionally to make this journey easier for him.
