Hillary Ellin Barnhart Scholarship Women in STEM

Hi friends,

My dear sister Hillary sadly passed away on March 1st, 2020, a couple of weeks before we all went into lockdown.

In her memory, my family and I have created a scholarship fund in her name.

“The Hillary Ellin Barnhart Scholarship for Women in Technology and Mathematics” will be awarded annually to a deserving woman who is interested in pursuing either of these two fields, which were a passion of my beloved, brilliant, successful sister. The scholarship will be awarded based on both academic achievement and need.

Perhaps you will be inspired to contribute to the scholarship fund. I can’t think of a greater gift than the gift of education.

Hillary put herself through Stanford University, earning multiple undergraduate and graduate degrees. She had an outstanding career in Silicon Valley, supported the arts, and mentored young women in engineering and business. Hillary would be incredibly moved to know that her memory is being honored by helping other young women achieve their academic goals.
