Hallo, mein Name ist Jonathan und ich bin 22 Jahre alt. Leider steht mein Name noch nicht in meinem Pass, und das möchte ich ändern. Auch möchte ich rechtlich als Mann anerkannt werden. In Deutschland kostet dieser gesetzliche Vorgang viel Geld, und als Auszubildender in der Logopädie kann ich den nötigen Betrag nicht selbst bis Mitte Oktober aufbringen. Schaffe ich das nicht, muss ich diesen Antrag erneut stellen, was ein weiteres Jahr dauern würde. Als Trans*mann leide ich täglich unter sozialem und körperlichem Unwohlsein. Eine Namens- und Personenstandsänderung wäre ein bedeutender Schritt für meine Transformation in mein wahres Ich. Außerdem ist sie wichtig für den weiteren Verlauf meines Lebens, auch wenn es um geschlechtsangleichende Operationen geht.

Hello, my name is Jonathan and I am 22 years old. Sadly my deadname remains in my ID, but I intend to change this. Legally, I also want to change my gender marker to fit my identity. This process costs 1600 euros in Germany, which is an amount of money I cannot possibly obtain until October 15th. As an aspiring speech therapist, I do not have a regular income yet. In case I cannot obtain the amount of money until said date getting to legally change my name and gender would take up to another year. As a trans*man I have to endure social and physical dysphoria on a daily basis. To change my name and gender would be an important step towards the completion of my medical transition. Furthermore, it would help me become my true self.
