I am a nurse practitioner and owner of Milford Med Spa , where I provide gender affirming non-surgical face treatments.
This involves using dermal filler and neuromodulators (like Botox) to enhance areas of the face to look more masculine or feminine (like the jawline, cheeks, brow, chin, and lips).
Unfortunately, these treatments are not covered by insurance carriers.
Add to that, people who are transgender on average have a lower income than the general population and face discrimination in the healthcare setting, both barriers to receiving trans-competent care.
It's great option for those who are not a surgical candidate, are unsure or do not want surgery, or who are waiting for the full effect of hormones on facial appearance (which can take up to 2 years).
Cost ranges from $350 to thousands of dollars, depending on the specific needs of the person.
I can hurdle the barrier to trans-competent care, but I need YOUR help to hurdle the financial barrier!
Your donation will be used to fund gender affirming non-surgical face treatments performed at Milford Med Spa by me, Dr. Courtney Holmes, APRN with patients who identify as transgender or gender non-conforming. To be clear, these funds WILL NOT be used for cisgender folks.
