Please help my Stella

I'm setting up this page to help my little Italian Greyhound Stella.  She is in need of surgery for a hip dislocation that cannot be fixed with less invasive methods.  We've tried everything and surgery is now the only option.  She can't walk currently and is in constant pain, being managed as best we can with medication.  I'm doing everything in my power, but the costs are more than I can manage on my own , and so I'm asking for help.  Any of you who know me personally, know how hard this is for me.  And if you don't know me personally, you can rest assured this isn't something that comes easily, but my poor girl is worth it.

I rescued Stella in 2006, from and overcrowded and abusive home.  She was scared and starved with all of her bones showing right down the ones in her skinny little tail.  She didn't know how to play, and had never tasted a treat.  She didn't even have a collar, or know her name, so changing it from the "Princess" was easy.  She was so skinny we said she looked like a stick, which for some reason led the thought process to breadstick, and then to Stella D'Oro and there you had it, our little bag of skin and bones had a name.

She has since become quite the outgoing little girl, who loves everyone she meets and greets you by jumping into your lap to stick her nose right in your face.  She loves to run, jump and play with her now innumerable toys and thinks every time she walks through the door, potty or not, it's time for a treat.  She has been my little shadow for the last 8 years, there with me through so much. 

Seeing her like this is breaking my heart, and I want nothing more than for her to be well again.  Please, please, please anything that can be spared to help my girl will be met with more gratitude than words can possibly express.  And if by some miracle, more money is raised that I need I fully intend to pay it forward to someone else in need.  Thank you so much !
