The Saga Continues

Greetings to all who read this.

 

My name is D. W. Saur, the award-winning author of Dark Days and Metal Like Me. I've started this fund in hopes of raising enough money to finance the publication of at least 3 books in The Covenant Saga series. The first installment of the saga is Dark Days and was released in October 2020. All aspects of its publication were financed by me. I worked a second job for almost five years to pay for a website, editing, publication, award entries, advertising and the list goes on.

 

Due to some health issues, I am unable to work a second job to continue financing the rest of the saga. My primary job is as a public educator and it does not allow me to easily pursue independent publication. I have set this fund at $30,000 so that I can release books 2, 3, and 4. This goal will allow for the creation of a final product that will look and read as though it is from any of the major publishers. It will also allow for the books to be published as eBooks and paperbacks. However, it may not include hardcover and it does not include audiobook.

 

Any funds that are left from the goal or if the goal exceeds the $30,000 mark then a list of options will be explored. A link to my blog is below with a post of plans for the saga. These plans have never been released to the world as I hoped to keep these ideas under wraps but I need some help to make these ideas come to life. If the fund falls short of the goal, I will use what is left to put out the second book but there is no promise that the saga will continue after that. The goal for releasing book 2 will be fall/winter of 2023 and book 3 will be fall/winter of 2024. If the fund reaches its goal before June 2023 then the timeline for release could be soon than the anticipated dates. 

My goal for the saga was to give readers a female lead that can fight her own battles, doesn't need romance, and does not rely on a male cast to save her.
