Saving Lucas

Hello, my name is Andrea. I am the proud owner of the sweetest 3 year old Chocolate Labrador named Lucas. I have had him since he was a puppy and recently we've been faced with the most devestating news. He's developped a herniated disc in his spinal cord. Within the past few weeks this has caused a once happily active dog to become practically immobile. He has lost most of his ability to use his hind legs making walking and standing next to impossible. Lucas needs a Lumbar Laminectomy this week to correct the problem however the surgery costs $6000. As I am just recently graduated and currently working part time I cannot afford this surgery. This situation is sudden and unexpected and quite honestly I am seeking help because I am desperate to save him. We're trying to remain as positive as possible during this time so we really do appreciate any help or support from you all. Not to mention how much Lucas would appreciate it! Thank you!
