Want to join me in supporting a good cause? This #GivingTuesday I'm raising money for Tidewater Figure Skating Club and the Beach Blades Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps. I've included information about the Beach Blades below.
The Beach Blades' goal is to develop self-discipline, physical and mental strength, teamwork, leadership, structure, and sportsmanship. Process goals, instead of outcome goals, are the organization’s focus throughout the year.
This year's team consists of 9 girls between the ages of 9 and 13. They have a strong commitment to each other and the sport of figure skating. While the sport helps to build strong character and work ethic, it is very expensive and each girls is required to raise $300 in addition to the monthly fees. This fundraising money helps to cover the competition expenses for the team.
