Hello, My name is Darrell. I am the second son born to a wonderful mother by the name of Rosalie, or Rose for short.
Throughout my life my mother has been a provider and caretaker for me and my 3 brothers and seemed to be invincible. I was born with only one functioning Kidney and had the right one removed at birth and faced a problem on my remaining kidney at 7 years old when my urine would return back in to it, causing my kidney to poison my body. My mother took care of me through all of that with getting me the medical care I needed and now I want to repay her.
But as I was approaching adulthood, I've found it's not as easy as it sounds.
For many years my mother has been battling breast and ovarian cancer and was diagnosed last year with a brain aneurysm which they could not treat because my mom's blood is so hard to get under control with a mix of her blood pressure and thick blood. She is on multiple blood thinners such as Heparin and Lovenox, which is very expensive to keep up with and without keeping her blood undercontrol there's not really much we can do to help get her surgically helped either.
I myself am also prepping for a kidney transplant, so paying for my own treatment along with my mother's has been...a hassle to say the least.
I made this gofundme in the hopes that I can find some help in easing my mother's pain while she goes through all of this. I love her with all my heart and I hope this message conveys it as such. She is my hero and sometimes heroes need saving too.
