July 16, 2011 my world was flipped upside down: I lost my brother Cpl Frank R. Gross to an IED on his first deployment. To honor his memory, I am running five miles a day in order to sponsor a service member to attend an organization called the Adaptive Training Foundation.
ATF is incredibly active in the veteran community & their mission is to “empower those with physical disabilities to transform their lives through exercise and community.”
The nine week program cost is $4500.00.
I will be incredibly active in the sponsorship of this person & I plan on attending graduation upon their completion of the program.
I have been running since January logging five miles each and every day and will continue to do so until I reach my goal of 4500.
