HERO DOG SAVES PORTSMOUTH FAMILY

UPDATE: MOOSE HAS BEEN ADOPTED but this family is still homeless! Please help! Background: The Portsmouth Humane Society allows you to "check out" an adoptable dog, and take the dog to local events like the Farmers Market. This Saturday, a local family of five "checked out" Moose the Great Pyrenees and brought him to the market, then brought him home to the houseboat they live on at Tidewater Marina. In the middle of the night, Moose awoke the family to alert them of extreme danger: the boat in the adjoining slip had caught fire, and the fire was spreading to Moose's foster family's boat! The family (parents and three kids) were all able to get out safely, but their home was destroyed and they lost everything. PLEASE DONATE to help them get back on their feet; 100% of contributions will be distributed directly to the family by the Portsmouth Olde Towne Farmers Market.
