Hernandez-Gomez Hurricane Recovery

Hurricane Harvey approached Texas and caused many things. On Monday August 28th after Harvey's rain had hit Texas, the community Canyon Gate in Katy, Texas close to Houston, Texas overflowed with water. The release of the Barker reservoir and rain caused the Canyon Gate community to overflow with water. Many families were not alerted of such things and  had no time to prepare for the unthinkable.  My family being one of them, we have lost all of our things from our home. Our home being a one story house, was filled with several feet of water, therefore destroying all of our belongings. The water was several feet inside the house, leaving all of our furniture, clothing, electronics, and appliances  ruined, not to mention the both of our cars  were filled with greats amounts of water. We were not alerted that our house would be used to drain the reservoir, which left us unprepared and vulnerable. Now with barely anything left, we need your help to start the road to recovery. The money you donate would be used to rebuild our home and start regaining everything we've lost.  Anything you give will be appreciated greatly.
