Hermano Sergio Acero

It is with a heavy heart that we regrettably announce the passing of one of our own. Hermano Sergio Acero passed away the morning of March 1st, 2014 at UNC Hospital due to complications from a motorcycle accident. He was 26 years old.
Hermano Sergio graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2009 and obtained his Master's Degree from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale shortly thereafter. Most recently, he was pursuing his dream of becoming a Dentist at UNC's School of Dentistry. Hermano Sergio became a part of the Alpha Iota Chapter in the Spring of 2008 and served as a huge inspiration for every Hermano that crossed after him.
Proceeds from this campaign will go to help the Acero family with the costs of the funeral.
