Hercules and Sophie eye surgery
Donation protected
Sophie and Hercules were abandoned by their mommy and a Good Samaritan brought them to Lifeline Rescue. These cuties were only 3 weeks old and needed to be bottle fed until they could eat on their own . It was obvious that their eyes were not normal. They went to a vet who diagnosed them with “extreme entroypion “. This is a genetic condition in which the eyelid is inverted or folded inward against the eyeball. This results in irritation and scratches to the cornea. If this is not corrected, the cornea can be permanently damaged. These kittens are sweet beyond words but they desperately need surgery to correct this condition. The surgery will be done at Redbank inTinton Falls by a specialist in eye surgery. These kittens need this surgery ASAP......their eyes continue to suffer damage every day. Please help these little angels start the new year with vision.....thank you..any donation will help them.
