Herbalist in The Azores

So my trip to the Azores will need to be Postponed due to the Pandemic, but I am still going to be there eventually when it is not as chaotic. In the meantime I am gathering information from family in the Azores on herbal remedies used by the common people, For Folk Medicine in the Azores. This has a lot to do with my memories of plants and recipes that have traveled with us across the waters. There is much more to dive into, and I am hoping to be able to get a little deeper into the soup of folk wisdom soon!
What is Planned to research so far:
Priestesses find the Alleged Temple to Tanit and Assess if it is indeed a place of Goddess Worship.
Culto do Divino Espírito Santo and the Divine Feminine.
The Indo American Statuary on Terceira
Folk Magic and charms against Curses
Herbalism and healing methods
Superstition
Feiticeiras and Bruxas
The History of the Capote and it's religious significance (if any)
I am offering rewards of balms, perfumes and bags all inspired by the Islands themselves.
I have limited supply of the raw materials to make the balms, so if I run out, I can give you store credit for something of equal value on my website~ (hopefully I can pick more up on my next trip!)

I will have 3 balms available for different donation amounts. These are made with Essential oils from DestillAzores in Pico. (I have limited amounts until can get more oil.) DestillAzores uses invasive plants (that smell amazing and still have value) to create their essential oils. The donation will include shipping to anywhere in the USA. If you are outside the USA I will have to get a quote because those can be pricey. (14-20$)
~~~~Geranium (Pelargonium Graveolens) salve made with beeswax, grapeseed oil infused with Hydrangea root and Geranium essential oil. Used to moisturize the skin and repel insects. Comes with a 12$ donation Limited to 12 one ounce salves.
~~~~Japanese Cedar ( Cryptomeria Japonica )Salve made with Beeswax, grapeseed oil infused with Hydrangea Root and Japanese Cedar Essential oil. Used to help build your temple, smells of frankincense and redwood. Comes with a $16 donation. Limited to 12 one ounce Salves.
~~~~Kahili Ginger (Hedychium Gardnerianum) Salve made with beeswax, grapeseed oil infused with Hydrangea Root, and Kahili Ginger Essential oil. This is a wonderful floral scent that is antiseptic and healing.
Comes with a $25 donation. Limited to 12 one ounce salves.
I use Hydrangea root in all of these salves, because it is helpful for pain and inflammation, like in Arthritis for example. It is also something you will find all over the Azores.
