Hephzibah Family House Fire Victims

I am writing requesting donations on behalf of a fellow 3rd grade RCBOE educator and single mother of three  (Leyah 1, Caleb 7, and Michael 10). On Thursday, January 4th this family lost everything in a house fire. She described that she opened a door leading to her garage and was met with a cloud of smoke and blazing flames. In a panic she grabbed her one-year-old daughter and rushed out of the house with only the clothes on their backs. Thankfully, her two sons were not present at the time of the fire. She is extremely grateful that her and her daughter are alive and no one else was hurt. Now, as reality sinks in she realizes that her family is left with nothing. Unfortunately, she did not have renter’s insurance so this leaves her without any additional support to help supplement this financial adversity. She desperately needs monetary donations to help her move into a new place, obtain transportation, and replace clothing, furniture, bedding, toiletries, toys and gifts her children received during Christmas, and other household essentials . A single mother, limited to only one income has made it very difficult for her to prepare for a financial hardship of this magnitude. Due to this, her fellow Sue Reynolds collegues  set up  this account as a funding resource for monetary donations to assist her during this difficult time. In addition, Monday, January 8th, charitable donations can be dropped off between 8-4pm at Sue Reynolds Elementary School, located on Wrightsboro Rd to help  her family rebound from this unforeseen tragedy and
get back on their feet. Ultimately, I hope that together we can make a huge difference in the life of not only a dedicated mother, but a dynamic Richmond County teacher.
