HEPA air purifiers for Shrubland Street School

I’m fundraising to provide HEPA air purification for rooms at Shrubland Street Community Primary School to help keep our children and school staff safe.

18 months into the COVID-19 pandemic, we still have very high levels of COVID-19 and high hospitalisation rates, including in children.

COVID-19 is known to be airborne and introducing proper ventilation and air purification is a key tool in stopping the spread from person to person.

Air purification with HEPA filters should reduce the spread of ALL viruses so that our children can stay happy and healthy and remain in school. This fund will provide 8 professional grade air purifiers (for classrooms of nursery through to Y6) large enough to effectively keep the classroom air clean at a cost of £350 each.

Our government has failed children and school staff by not providing resources to introduce these measures, I hope we can achieve this as a community!
