Henry is Getting a New Heart

Good news, friends and family! My dad, Henry, has been approved for a heart transplant by St. Luke’s hospital as of April 3, 2018.
While we are optimistic and excited about this news for a longer and fulfilling life for Henry, a financial burden will come with it.
Even with insurance approval there there will be a lot of costs our family will need to cover. Not only new costs, but costs from past medical bills that have built up and led us to this point in his treatment. We need to be prepared, because he could get the call for transplant as soon as tomorrow.
We are needing donations for the following expenses:
-Appointment Co-Pays that include consultations and follow up visits in Kansas City and Springfield.
-Co-pays for anti-rejection medication for pre-deductible and donut hole time periods.
-Missed wages (for Henry) due to appointments and recovery time.
-Moving expenses.
-Hotel stays for nights before early appointments.
-Current medical bills that are currently needing to be paid due to past hospitalizations.
