Henricksen Family

My brother Adam was diagnosed with testicular cancer just a few weeks ago; however, his pain and discomfort had been a constant companion for months.  Once diagnosed he underwent surgery and was told chemo/radiation would follow.  Unfortunately, his health continued to deteriorate rapidly.  He was life flighted to Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City where he was told he has a progressively growing grapefruit size tumor impeding his organs, cancer in his lungs, kidney infection, and spiking fevers, and a feeding tube.  All of this combined has his life in jeopardy.  He is currently undergoing emergency chemo to try and reverse his symptoms and tumor so the surgeons can perform surgery.
Adam and his wife Christy have five children and live in Nampa, Idaho.  This has been a shock and heartbreaking for his family.  He has not been able to work and starting chemo he will be very ill and weak for months.  Christy has been by his side out of state and away from their kids to be there every step of the way.
