Help Yvette Bite Back!

Let me tell you about myself my name is Yvette Titus,  I have been dealing with a very frustrating and debilitating disease that has caused damage to my joints, nerves, cognitive neuropathy issues (memory problems) and pericarditis(heart issues).  These conditions have affected my employment which lead to my termination. I have been denied Social Security Disability.  My insurance company will no longer pay for any further treatments. The name of this awful disease that has changed my families life, is Lyme Disease! I also suffer from 4 other co-infections, these all come from ONE tick bite!

These treatments are expected to be paid out of pocket now, the problem with that is my family surviving only on one income. A  doctors visit for me is $600, an over the phone consultation is $375. My IV medication has stopped but the normal cost is$1000 a week (medication only), this includes the need for a nurse which is an additional cost of a $120 a week. 
This does not include my labs. I am due to start a new treatment, The Hyperbaric Chambers, cost beginning at $700.  I also had to begin a new diet, adding organic foods and removing carbohydrates and dairy.  I have over $2000.00 in pass due medical bills, this needs to be paid to restart treatment.

I am being treated by a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor(LLMD)



My husband Willie has been carrying the weight our families finances on his shoulders.  I worry about his health as well because he was diagnosed with Lyme disease also. (He was detected in the earlier stages)  We have 2 teenagers our son Issac and daughter Christin.  They have seen me on my worst days unable to get out of bed, or when I was unable to get my own food or medication. They have witnessed days I've cried while fighting on the phone with the doctors for not believing in my illness or not knowing how to treat me.  Also the many days I had to battle with our insurances company about my treatment from the LLMD, just for them to say it was denied. 

The monies raised will be allocated for doctor visits, treatments, medications,  and all medical expenses. During this last year, I have had to have two surgeries which I was admitted on both occasions. Every month my medical cost vary. My treatments will begin at the end of the month. I have been dealing with a lot of nerve pain, headaches, fatigue, heart palpitations. These funds would mean the world to me and my family.  I will be able to restart my treatments. 


I would like to thank all my family and friends who have prayed and helped us during this challenging time. Words can not express how hard this is for me and my family, to be told you have a disease that is attacking every part of your body.  But only to then be told by your traditional Doctors, "They don't agree with the treatment, "It's experimental." Mark my words. "This is not an experiment." I am fighting for my life the best way I Know!
