Help Tom Shoot Again

To keep a long story short I am a Surf Photographer based in Margaret River.  My house was broken into and all my camera equipment was stolen. This included backups and worst of all a couple's irreplaceable wedding photos on a backup hardrive..

A portion of the $13000 of equipment is fortunately covered by insurance but the remaining stolen accessories as well as the  refund for the lost memories of the recently married couple have left my pockets more than empty.

I feel  I owe it to those who are accompanying me on this photographic journey to get back in the water and continue sharing ocean imagery; and I genuinely believe I was at the verge of being able to use my chosen craft to not only create a career but also to highlight natures fragility and beauty in this critical time of climate change and environmental destruction.

I'm not one to ask for charity (and feel a bit strange about it) so I have decided a quarter of all donations to this fund will go to the Western Australian branch of the Disabled Surfers Association, (http://disabledsurfers.org/wa/. Hopefully this will give those with far bigger problems than me the opportunity to enjoy our magic ocean environment.
