I'm here to ask for your help! On April 29, 2024, heavy rains hit the region of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, marking the largest flood in history.

The intense rains affected 345 municipalities, leaving over 122 thousand people homeless and dozens still missing. Many bridges connecting the cities were destroyed, and thousands of people are isolated. Houses, schools, and hospitals were flooded or swept away by the waters, and as the water level recedes, mud covers everything that remains, revealing many bodies of people who could not protect themselves. Despite all this sadness, there is hope and life that need our help.

Amidst these states, there are friends who have lost everything and need basic support to survive. That's why we're joining efforts to raise funds and directly help these needy families. Your donation, regardless of the amount, will make all the difference.

Therefore, if you have an affection for Brazil, Brazilians living outside of Brazil, or simply wish to help those in need, through your donation of any amount, we will make a difference in the lives of some families affected by this terrible tragedy. We emphasize that 100% of the donations will be allocated to families in the Venâncio Aires region, RS, and we will document everything through photos and videos posted on the Instagram accounts of @GoFundRiograndedosul , showing where and how these funds were allocated.

Estou aqui para pedir sua ajuda! No dia 29 de abril de 2024, fortes chuvas atingiram a região do Rio Grande do Sul, no Brasil, marcando a maior inundação da história. As intensas chuvas afetaram 345 municípios, deixaram mais de 122 mil pessoas desabrigadas e dezenas ainda estão desaparecidas. Muitas pontes que ligam as cidades foram destruídas e milhares de pessoas estão isoladas. Casas, escolas e hospitais foram inundados ou levados pelas águas, e à medida que o nível da água baixa, a lama cobre tudo o que resta, revelando muitos corpos de pessoas que não conseguiram se proteger. Apesar de toda essa tristeza, há esperança e vida que precisam de nossa ajuda.

Em meio a esses estados, há amigos que perderam tudo e precisam de apoio básico para sobreviver. Por isso, estamos unindo esforços para arrecadar fundos e ajudar diretamente essas famílias necessitadas. Sua doação, independentemente do valor, fará toda a diferença.
