Squire James Needs Help!

Hi, I am James, the doofus love muffin. 


I am a spoiled indoor cat but I LOOOVVE to lay in the sun and always stay in the vicinity of the back patio so my mom let's me out to bask which she did on 2/7. I didn't follow the rules and somehow ended up being visciously attacked. I made it home, freaked out Mom and got rushed to the vet. BTW my mom says I have now lost outdoor privilelges and am grounded indefinitely.

I have been in been in critical care at VetMed ever since with multiple external and internal traumas. Lucky for me these guys are amazing and have the good drugs.  I like to use my mom's hand as a pillow so she hooked me up for a while and I finally got comfy.  (Mom won't  post any pics of me looking scary  because it is too sad and she doesn't want people to see me that way)


Our family has had it rough this last year with my brother (the Corgi) and my Mom both having some costly health/dental issues. Because of that and a couple other hits, Mom's resources to deal with this attack are completely exhausted. She is usually stubbon about handling things on her own  and racked her brain for ways to deal with the thousands in vet costs I am racking up and came up empty, (literally). Her friends told her to do this and she decided she has no shame or pride when it comes to saving her fur kids life and will reach out to the world if necessary.

If you like cats that are goofy and live only to snuggle, purr and give love I'm your dude!  My Mom says I'm the cat she's always wanted, the dog might say differently but I love him anyway.


Some people will think this is crazy but mom refuses to let me die or suffer for lack of funds.  I am her family and been by her side through some pretty traumatic stuff the last few years, she says I deserve no less in return.

Our little family appreciates any and all prayers, good energy and financial assistance and mom says she will continue to strive to pay it forward as much as possible.  If funds are raised in excess of my care costs they will be donated to either another animal at VetMED in the same boat or Rockstar Rescue in Phoenix who does amazing work with dogs who need care, healing and forever homes.
