Help Save Ollie

I started this GoFundMe for my brother Steven Kovacs, and Kim Acker because of the emergent nature of the situation. Below are their own words:
Friends,
As some of you may or may not know, we adopted one of the puppies we had been fostering from a local shelter on February 21st. His name is Ollie and although its been a short time, we knew from the beginning we wanted to be his forever home. Unfortunately on the 25th, Ollie started exhibiting some coughing and wheezing so we took him into the vet the same day and he was diagnosed with an Upper Respiratory Infection. Several days later, he showed no signs of improvement and began to vomit.
That evening, February 28th we received the news no parent should hear: Ollie has Parvo. To make matters worse, Ollie was diagnosed with pneumonia the following morning.
Since then it has been a very up and down battle, and Ollie has battled dire conditions. As of today, March 7, he has to be transferred due to sepsis and is in critical condition.
Ollie has been in the hospital for a week, and although his pneumonia is under control he is still battling Parvo. We never thought we would ever be in the position to ask for help financially, but Ollie is still battling, and with the addition of sepsis we have no idea when we will be able to bring our little champ home.
As of Monday the bills have reached $7,391, and that does not include the days following nor the transfer to another hospital to treat his sepsis (which we were told would be another $5,000.) We will do everything in our power to save Ollie's life and any amount donated is greatly appreciated and would help immensely.
We will be keeping everyone updated until Ollie comes home!
