Help Save Dakota - Urgent, ICU

Dakota is in the ICU and we desperately need your help. He is a very sweet 14 year old quarter horse gelding, and is a big favorite around the barn. Whether in a western or english saddle, he has shown great ability to teach students in every discipline we offer. He has also been used to represent our horses off site at local and IEA shows, where he always performs admirably.

Dakota began showing signs of extreme discomfort early Saturday morning. Upon examination of the emergency veterinarian, it was determined that he needed to be moved immediately to the vet hospital's ICU and placed on IV fluids. His treatment has already totaled almost $5000, and increases by approximately $2000/day, but we are determined to provide him with the best chance we can to recover.
