Please Help Natalie!

I am making this on behalf of my best friend who is in need of some medical help during this time of unforseen circumstances.
This started on Christmas morning Natalie woke up not feeling well, as the day progressed she developed new symptoms. She was experiencing extreme right ear pain that spread quickly to both ears (thought it was a possible ear infection). Went to local ER, they seen her quickly, no ear infection was found in either ears but was given a strong pain medication, hydrocodone, for the excruciating pain that Natalie was experiencing. The family went home. The next morning, Natalie woke with numbness in both hands. Mother called doctors office and was seen again, to be told Natalie was fine and there was nothing wrong. The parents knew that something was wrong with her daughter and continued to seek medical advice and a logical answer to her daughters suffering. One doctor even went as far as telling her parents that Natalie was making this up! Couple days later mother took daughter back to local ER due to fainting and numbness in the hands. After waiting for nearly 5 hours in the ER, and not being seen due to nurses not thinking it was a severe enough case and ultimately being sent home, the parents seeked other medical options. Parents fears became more, as they were told Natalie needed more medical help as soon as possible by another local doctor the next day. The doctors advised parents to get Natalie to Children's hospital in Spokane ASAP. They drove her from local clinic to Spokane and upon arrival she was rushed in and admitted immediatly. By this point Natalie was very ill, weak, vomiting, and fainting. Natalie is now being seen and treated at Sacred Heart Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA. Doctors started right away with trying to diagnose the problem with X-ray, heart scans, full blood work up, they performed a lumbar puncture (awaiting results still to rule out MS-which is not curable) a massive thurough exam, and then did an emergency MRI at midnight. What images shown was shocking and heartbreaking. On images there were white dots on her brain. Natalie was first diagnoed with MS (Multiple Scierosis), but a couple hours later a miracle happened. Prayers of family and close friends were heard, and a nuralogist brought some hope. Natalie was then diagnosed with ADEM. Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis is a rare autoimmune disease marked by a sudden, widespread attack of inflammation in the brain and spinal cord that damages myelin- the protective covering of nerve fibers. This diagnosis is hard to swallow and accept, according to neurologist this happens 1 in a million children. If parents werent as vigulant, Natalie could have slipped thru the medical professionals and wound up in a coma. They arrived to Sacred Heart literally within hours of this happening. Doctors are now treating her with very high doses of steriods for the inflammation and morphin for the pain
through IV's. Along with medication for the dizziness/vomiting. Also has IV for keeping her fluids up. She hasnt eaten much in past 2 days and has managed to stomach just a few bites today.
Natalie is the third child of six. She just celebrated her 10th birthday and is in the 4th grade. The family currently lives 3 hours away from where she is currently being treated, and doctors have no prediction of how long hospitalization will be. The parents are missing work and bills are rolling in quick. The other children are being cared for by extended family. When they are allowed to go home, doctors have said Natalie will need extended care and therapy. Her therapy will consist of her traveling one way 3+ hours to Spokane from Tonasket on a regular basis. This in itself will be costly. Currently, the parents are staying with Natalie in hospital room and have been gifted $200 for food and other neccesaties to get by. Please we ask for any donations, to share this and please send prayers! They need it more than ever before!
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and will update when needed.
