Help My Husband Fight Brain Cancer

Hello, my name is Middrey Bosch, my husband Damian of only 45 years of age was diagnosed on July 20, 2015 with brain cancer considered the most aggressive and malignant of its kind, known as "Glioblastoma Multiforme Grade IV.” Receiving the news was a terrifying experience for the whole family, especially for our three young children. Three days later, on July 23, 2015, my husband was operated on emergency, followed by radiotherapy and chemotherapy. The doctor gave us the worst prognosis and no hope, he informed us there was not much to do and that my husband would live at the most three months.
Against all odds my husband recovered and was cancer free for two years. In August of 2017, after several examinations the doctors discovered that the tumor had returned and my husband underwent a second emergency surgery. A month later he needed radiosurgery to try to fight some remnants of the tumor. At this moment he is receiving chemotherapy, but his health has continued to decline. He can’t speak or write, he suffers from memory loss, and he is currently on a wheelchair as he has become hemiplegic on the right side - in a few words, he cannot take care of himself.
For this type of tumor there are very few treatments available and we have tried almost everything; a few days ago we received excellent news that gave us renewed hope, a new inmunotherapy treatment is available that has cured many patients and caused remission of cancer in others for many years. In spite of the effectiveness that this treatment has proven in the patients who have tried it, the medical insurers refuse to pay. The treatment is available at TCM Physicians Clinic in Florida, with Dr. Marcelo Lam and has a cost of $8,500; we do not have the funds to cover the treatment and according to the doctor my husband needs to receive this treatment as soon as possible to ensure its effectiveness and prevent the cancer from progressing. Our funds are drained by the high monthly payments that the medical insurance imposed on us, the high deductibles, and the out of pockets that we’ve had to pay. That is why the desperation to try to save the life of my beloved husband impels me to beg for help to raise these funds, so that this miracle can become a reality.
This treatment can extend his life for many years and will allow our children to grow up next to their father. In advance, we thank and appreciate everyone for their prayers, love, and generosity.

Hola, mi nombre es Middrey Bosch, mi esposo Damian de tan solo 45 anos de edad fue diagnosticado en el 20 de Julio del 2015 con un cáncer cerebral “Glioblastoma Multiforme Grado IV” considerado el más agresivo y maligno en su tipo, enterarnos de esto fue una experiencia aterradora para toda la familia, en especial para nuestros tres hijos pequeños. Tres días después el 23 de Julio del 2015 mi esposo fue operado de emergencia, seguido por radioterapia y quimioterapia. El doctor me dio el peor de los pronósticos y ninguna esperanza, me dijo que no había mucho que hacer y que viviría cuando mucho tres meses.
Contra todo pronóstico mi esposo se recuperó y estuvo libre de cáncer por dos años. En Agosto del 2017 tras algunos exámenes los doctores descubrieron que el tumor había regresado y mi esposo fue sometido a otra cirugía de emergencia, un mes más tarde requirió de radiocirugía para tratar de combatir algunos remanentes del tumor, en este momento está recibiendo quimioterapia, pero su salud ha seguido en deterioro, no puede hablar, ni escribir, sufre de pérdida de memoria, esta hemipléjico del lado derecho por lo que está en silla de ruedas, en pocas palabras no puede valerse por si mismo, necesita ayuda para todo.
Para este tipo de tumor hay muy pocos tratamientos disponibles y hemos tratado casi todo, pero hace unos días recibimos excelentes noticias que nos llenaron de esperanzas, hay disponible un nuevo tratamiento de inmunoterapia que está dando resultados muy prometedores; pero a pesar de la efectividad que ha probado tener este tratamiento en los pacientes que lo han intentado los seguros médicos se niegan a pagar y siendo así es muy difícil tener acceso al mismo, el cual tiene un costo de $8,500, nosotros no disponemos de esa suma y según el doctor mi esposo necesita recibir el tratamiento lo antes posible para asegurar así la efectividad del tratamiento y evitar que el cáncer siga en progreso. El tratamiento está disponible a través de TCM Physicians Clinic en la Florida con el doctor Marcelo Lam. Nuestros fondos han sido drenados por las altas mensualidades que nos imponen el seguro médico, los altos deducibles y pagos por cuenta propia que hemos tenido a lo largo de esta lucha. Es por esto que la desesperación por tratar de salvar la vida de mi amado esposo me impulsa a suplicar por ayuda para poder recaudar dichos fondos, apelo a la generosidad de todas aquellas personas que estén leyendo nuestra historia y que estén en capacidad de poder ayudar con algo, no importa la cantidad, para que este milagro pueda hacerse realidad.
