We have been blessed by so many friends and family offering help to Momma Sharon since her diagnosis in September. We are now reaching out and asking for your help! She has spent her life serving others as only special nurses can, and now we want to be there to support her as she battles tough treatments and is unable to work.
For those who don't know, our mom Sharon Thomas
was diagnosed with stage 2, grade 3 triple negative breast cancer in September. She had a double mastectomy on November 5th, but due to the location of the tumor a tough chemo regimen was required, which started on December 8th.
After her first round she was admitted to the hospital on December 15th for 5 days with a blood infection and pneumonia. But she is strong. She recovered and began her 2nd round of chemo this past Monday. Now she has been admitted to the hospital again (on New Year's eve), this time with severe mastoiditis and sinus infection and she is currently still in hospital.
We are prepared to FIGHT every step of the way, and we want Momma Sharon to be able to focus on her treatments and staying well instead of the mounting cost of this battle. Your continued prayers are appreciated more than you could ever know, and any amount you feel led to give will be a blessing to her as well.
