Medical Bills/Treatment Micah

Our family has been enormously affected by our son's illnesses. He has severe Tourette Syndrome, resulting in horrendous motor and vocal tics. He can not dress himself at times. He also had debilitating OCD and a mood disorder. Right now, he sees a psychologist, psychiatrist, counselor, and a neurologist. The amount of debt we have acquired is unbelievable, and he still needs treatment. He also needs to be in a school that can adequately support him and meet his needs. I wish I had a more recent video to share, but because Micah is older, and he cares so much more about what others think of him, I feel as I can not get a video of his current state. This was a few years ago. Things have gotten worse in many ways. He tries his best to hold things in a lot of times, especially when he is around people he wants to impress. He tries very hard, but when he gets home, or he just can't hold it in any longer, he just explodes. His newest tic and compulsions include rage attacks (that he does not even remember afterwards), horrible OCD that keeps him from walking into rooms, brushing his teeth alone, getting dressed alon, etc. He has a mood disorder that takes it's own toll on him. He has started to show signs of coprophilia, look it up. He has been in trouble at school for the inappropriate things he says, which comes DIRECTLY from his TS. Not only cussing, but rude statements made to a lot of people, which he deeply regrets. He has even mentioned that his family's life would be so much easier if he didn't exist or just disappeared! This puts great fear and depression into a mama's heart. He can not write in school. His TS has led to degenerative regression in his fine motor skills, including writing. He deals, daily, with being unaware of his misplaced social skills as well. I am posting this, in hopes, that there is help SOMEWHERE!!! Someone has to know something! We have tried Essential Oils, every prescription drug possible, biofeedback, psychiatric care, counseling, we are scheduled for an MRI in February. We have tried talking, music...as he plays drums and loves to sing, exercise, karate, running, swimming, dancing, etc. We treated for Lyme, with no success, and have tested for PANDAS. I am slowly losing hope, but if nothing else, I have to lay aside my pride and try to get the finances we need to keep treating him, probably for the rest of his life.
