I just wanted to say a huge thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the people who have already taken the time to donate what they can. I cant even begin to describe how grateful and blessed I am to know how many people out there are willing to help. I would like to update everyone on whats been happening since I made this gofundme. May 19th was the day my mom had brain surgery where her skull was cut into and a piece of her brain was taken out to be tested in order to finally put a name to this heartbreaking disease. I dont think I have ever experienced as much anxiety in my life as I did during the 3 hour invasive process that could have taken my mom from me. Thankfully, she was released the next day with some staples, stiches, a shaved head, and a smile on her face. I will never forget that feeling I got, of pure gratitude for everything running smoothly and my mom being able to come home. On May 21st, sunday night just two days after the surgery, my dad was cleaning up the kitchen after cooking dinner for my mom and him when he heard a clicking sound coming from outside where my mom had just gone. Confused about what that sound was he looked out the window to find my mom slumped over having a siezure. Panicked, he called 911 and had her rushed back to the hospital
My name is Kayla and I desperately need help raising money for my sick mother. She is 48 years old and has been suffering from some kind of brain degenerative disease making simple everyday tasks difficult for her. She can no longer drive and has been disabled and unemployed for about 5 years making it difficult on my dad to support my family alone. It has taken over her mind and completely changed who she is, she doesnt remmeber anything and suffers from body aches all the way down her spine making it very difficult for her to walk. After going to several different doctors in an attempt to figure out what might be wrong, there still has been no conclusion or diagnosis leaving us in the dark with what to do next to help her.
