National Academy for Future Physicians

Greetings,

My name is Mecca and I have been chosen to represent my high school in Hesperia, CA at a National Convention in Washington DC for future Physicians and Medical Scientists. I am the third child of 8 children. I have been focused on my goal of becoming a Neonatal Physician since I was 10 years old. This trip will only encourage me in continuing on the journey of becoming a Physician. I have a 4.2 gpa and am in the top 5% of my class. I have progressed this far due to the support of caring family and friends. The cost of the 3 day trip to Washington D.C. is $2, 200. I am asking for community support of $1, 500 to help me attend workshops, discover new medical break-throughs, meet physicians and experts that work in the medical field, network with other future doctors, and watch a live surgery. Please continue to support me in my journey to excellence and help get me there! I won't let you down. The deadline is September 3, 2014.
