In October 2020 after months of testing and a bone biopsy I was diagnosed with a Plasmacytoma, after additional testing I was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer on November, 25, 2020.

I began treatment on December 30, 2020. After six cycles of chemotherapy and a stem cell collection I am continuing my healing journey with the help of my wonderful medical team at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.

Navigating a pandemic with a diagnosis like this has been incredibly challenging. Especially as a single mother of three.

However, on this healing journey I have decided to document my experience to bring awareness to blood disorders like Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Myeloma.
