Help Kimmie Fight Like a Girl

Dearest Friends and Family:

Most of you know that my story is not one most Breast Cancer patients tell, my story started out as a cautionary step taken by me to prevent loss of a breast and/or my life. But things went horribly wrong when my trusted team of doctors failed me completely by not disclosing the results accurately, and failed to provide informed consent about my breast health care. All leading up to delayed diagnoses by 2 years.

I now have found myself stripped of my entire identity, job, independence, in a financial crisis everyday since being diagnosed, and simply struggling to feed my children and all the while doing my best to stay focused on staying strong enough to beat this awful monster. 

I was diagnosed last October finally, with Multicentric Infiltrating Breast Cancer late stage 3. Until now, I have blessed to have had some assets to cash in on, very little disability and social services assistance, and found some financial assistance by way of National Non Profits on the Net. My parents have struggled to pay the balance of needed expenses. Until now I was able to get by. But I have reached my maximum limits with the Non Profits financial funding, my parents are putting themselves now in to financial risk. What it boils down to is I still have at least another 5 months in treatment and surgery dates until I am able to find some source of income. 

So I am reaching out to you my neighbor, my friend, my co worker, my high school girlfriend, who ever is able to assist me as I would if I were called upon. I have thought about this considerably and struggled with my pride and now I am swallowing it. Please help me keep a roof over my children, food in the refrigerator and lights on in my home, so I may continue to work on my treatment and "FIGHT LIKE A GIRL".
