Help Katie Fight Breast Cancer

Our friend Katie is a 36 year old wife and mother to two young boys aged 3 and 4. In October after multiple scans and biopsies she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Her world was turned upside down. Anxiety and fear cannot describe the emotions Katie has been through dealing with the reality of this diagnosis.
Katie has been diagnosed with Stage 3, Grade 3, Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, Breast Cancer. On December 12, 2017 she underwent a double mastectomy. The pathology revealed the breast cancer was invasive with lymph node involvement. The more lymph nodes involved means the easier the cancer can spread. This meant that Katie had to undergo a second surgery, auxiliary lymph node dissection, on January 18, 2018. This surgery removed the affected area of lymph nodes. Katie once again received bad news as the pathology showed 43/58 nodes had cancer involvement.
Katie will now start the fight to beat this cancer. She will be undergoing aggressive Chemotherapy over the next 4 months starting in February. After she finishes her Chemotherapy she will have to undergo radiation treatment.
I have had so many of Katie's friends ask me what they can do to help and many have suggested a Go Fund me page.
Katie has a large supportive family that can help with cooking meals and babysitting the boys, however, nobody wants their friends or family scrubbing their toilets. Therefore, these funds will be used to help fund a housecleaner for Katie and her family. This will help with the everyday things so Katie can spend her energy with her husband and two beautiful boys. Furthermore, there are many added expenses that will add up for Katie and her family including alternative natural path treatments that are very costly at $5,000 for 6 months of treatment. These funds will help assist with those costs as well.
Anyone who knows Katie knows she has a larger than life personality. She has been through so much and has so much more to go through but she is a fighter and determined to beat this.
